We approached this project as you would a television documentary. It was important that we remained impartial and filmed like a fly on the wall film crew. This way we could document just how the project was unfolding as it happens.
We'd spend weeks at a time filming hours of footage and building a story structure, taking our narrative lead from interviews, meetings and observational filming.
Mostly filmed around the schools and fishing communities living on the great lake, we focused on the people of Burundi and how their lives would be impacted by Suretsream in Burundi.
