Free Spirited Families

01. Brief

In light of the recent pandemic Al Fresco holidays wanted to produce a NEW brand film using footage we filmed in 2015.

The concept:  highlight the space and freedom free spirited families can have on an Al Fresco holiday.

02. Approach

Our original approach back in 2015 was to film the entire video as though it was filmed on a mobile phone. When we got to a location we gave the family some direction then we gave them the selfie stick and let them run with it, in some cases literally. We wanted this film to feel slightly homemade and natural, like a real home video should.

We needed to re-edit the video showing the family having fun in plenty of open space, while also including text highlighting key points Al-Fresco wanted to convey. The solution was an easy-to read split screen effect which allowed us squeeze messaging along side the footage –we incorporated their branding into the frame so it felt cohesive, vibrant and on brand.

03. ROI

This video was used on their website landing page and rolled out to all social channels through pandemic. Based on the success of this video we were commissioned to do 30 second cut for larger digital marketing campaign.

Not only had our video footage aged well, our models hadn’t aged a single day since 2015.

TV ADVERT

01. Brief

Produce a 30 second cutdown that can be used on nationwide digital channels such as SKY TV.

02. Approach

With this edit we wanted to take the audience on a visual journey using fun and interesting transitions from scene-to-scene. The end result is an engaging video that inspires families looking for space and excitement! Our creative direction was not only about entertaining but getting people excited about what they are watching. We wanted any generation to say, “why not I’ll have a go at that!”

This film has been used an integral part of Al-Fresco’s marketing push through the pandemic and beyond.

Al-Fresco Family Fun

01. Brief

Produce a promotional film showing the variety of experiences a family can have on an Al Fresco holiday. 

02. Approach

We wanted to make the film more than just an average family vacation, so we went all out. Not only did we have crews filming various outdoor activities throughout Europe and at Al-Fresco holiday destinations. We had a small mobile crew film our models at just one location. In post-production we edited all the footage together to create an action packed film highlighting the fun and relaxation to be had. 

03. ROI

Al-Fresco have continuously used this film to promote their aspirational holidays for many years. 

This was one of the first films we produced for Al-Fresco and since then we have produced well over 50 films promoting their destinations and holiday destinations.
