Microvision wanted a branded content film to get people excited about their new range of pocket projectors, great for watching movies while on the go.

strategy

Because Microvision had stated that the projector was great for watching movies on the go we decided to produce a mini epic movie chase sequence.

creation

this was an extremely technical shoot. We filmed the model cars on a green screen treadmill to create the effect of the cars actually driving. The models were also shot in a green screen studio. We then processed the images and saved them to our phones where we projected them in a darkened office.

results

speed of light was an instant hit and went viral reaching over 2.3 millions hits in over a week. Speed of Light has had airplay on French and Japanese mainstream TV and also picked up two Webby Award nominations for Best Viral and Best Branded Content
